The Ski Area

The beginnings of what was to become the Blue Hills Ski Area took form in 1935 when the Civilian Conservation Corp started work on the first two downhill ski slopes, which were usable that winter. The following year a practice slope was built. In 1949, the park commission constructed three rope tows and fourteen years later (1963), the commission would add a lodge, two J-Bar tows and a double chair lift. The double char lift was replaced in 1978.

The Blue Hills has freestyle and park terrain. Whether you want to try skiing or boarding for the first time or are looking for a quick getaway, the Blue Hills has you covered.

Only good for 2015-2016 season. Winning bidder must present letter at time of purchase. No cash value and it cannot be combined with any other offer or discount. Regular Hours of Operation Blue Hills season varies depending on the season but our goal is to be open mid-December through mid-March. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday 1 pm– 9 pm Thursday, Friday, Saturday 9 am – 9 pm Sunday 9am – 6pm PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS A FUNDRAISING EVENT AND THERE ARE NO REFUNDS. All winning bidders will be charged a transaction fee of 10%, not to exceed $25 per item, to cover a portion of the auction & credit card transaction fees.
