CHUNGDAHM ReadWrite - Four (4) Critical Reading or Writing Classes

CHUNGDAHM ReadWrite is dedicated to helping students achieve success by improving their reading comprehension, writing skills, and critical thinking abilities. We believe that the ability to read, write and think critically, present and defend opinions and facts, and analyze and solve problems are the foundation of success in academic and professional settings. These skills must be cultivated early and continually reinforced to carry over into school, life, and work.

A study from the National Endowment for the Arts, “To Read or Not to Read,” found that reading skills directly affect how students perform in personal, professional, and social settings.  The study concluded, among other things, that:

1. Employers now rank reading and writing as top deficiencies in new hires.


2. Good readers generally have more financially rewarding jobs.


3. Less advanced readers report fewer opportunities for career growth.
