Newton Sewing Studio - Deluxe Sewing Party for 15

What happens during a sewing party?  Lots of fun!

At NSS, we've done LOTS of parties so our system is polished and fun for everyone.  Parents need not worry about anything besides food setup and, of course, taking photos.  We want the party to be fun and relaxing.

We'll help the birthday family and guests choose fabrics for their project and find the perfect pieces.  There will be a sewing machine demonstration before guests practice sewing on their practice squares.  All machine mishaps are taken care of quickly and easily by our experienced staff.  Once each child is comfortable, they move on for further instruction on their project.  Experienced children can also add steps and move on to ironing, decorative stitching or hand sewing.  Slower sewers are helped along with fewer steps so everyone keeps the same pace.  Everyone feels the same level of accomplishment.

Food and drinks are served in any way you like.  This is the part of the party run entirely by parents/friends.  Included goodie bags are passed out with your own or as guests leave.

Afterwards, staff will help remove used plates, cups, boxes, etc.
